4. of July Inspired Running Gear

4th of July is coming up soon! Since I spent most of my life living on the American east coast, I thought I`d put together a little set of running clothes inspired by the colors of the star spangled banner. Tell me: how are you going to celebrate 4. of July this year?

  1. Blue tank racer vest via Sweaty Betty
  2. Blue, white and red sports bra via Sweaty Betty
  3. Red, white and blue running shorts via Sweaty Betty
  4. Blue and pink women`s adizero tempo 5 running shoes via Road Runner Sports

Asics GT-2170 2A W

Today is the day that I finally caved and bought myself some new running shoes. I haven`t had the chance to take them out for a run, yet, because I`m super busy with studying and they are waiting for me in my car. I chose these shoes because they are not only really pretty (you know, you are a runner, when you think your sneakers are really pretty!) but also cut relatively narrow and therefore great for my feet and they are for pronators (like me, again). According to Asics these also feature:

  • 3M Reflective
  • Space Trusstic
  • I.G.S.
  • ComforDry sockliner
  • DuoMax
  • AHAR+
  • Solyte
  • Duotech Cold
  • DuraSponge

Since, as I said before they are still sitting and waiting in my car I only have an iPhone picture for now. Aren`t they great?

Shared Love

Happy Valentine`s Day!

If for some reason you haven`t noticed already by the red and pink shades all around, it`s Valentine`s Day! I didn`t celebrate, but I believe that is important to share your love on any given day of the calendar year. As for example done here.

I have two good friends from Ukraine who brought me two very lovely presents, for no bigger reason, but I think it was such a nice gesture. So I thought I`d show you!

Here are the coziest socks that will keep you warm even in -30 degrees Celsius (bought in a region where it was just that cold) and the perfect pair of shoes. Perfect, because it is made of chocolate! I can`t even get over that sweetness!

I also added a tiny little red heart to my overall casual outfit today. Here it is:

Now, I hope you have an amazing day. I also hope that you around the people you love, and I encourage you to tell them that you do. I hope you, too receive a gift of love every once in a while, or better even, go ahead and share one! This could be anything. Do something good and call an old friend. Send a thank you note or bake cookies for your neighbors. And also, do something good for yourself and indulge a little!

I hope you all have a lovely day! Tell me, how do you celebrate, if so, and what little gifts did you recently give or get or what would you like to give?

Wednesday`s Wishes

Besides obviously wishing for my cold to finally be over, these are just a few things that I am craving right now:

1. delicious macarons, 2. Something sparkly to add a bit of glitter to my manicure, 3. a great pair of nude flats, 4. a signature scent (this will be my next try), 5. and scent for the house, 6. a good bronzer.

What is inspiring you or part of your wishlist?
