Travel Impressions: Discovering Paris

On our first day in Paris we decided to take a walk and discover Paris by foot. We walked from approximately the Galeries Lafayett past the Louvre to Notre Dame. Then back to the Tuileries Garden for a little brake in the super-comfortable Luxembourg chairs. Finally we decided to go to L`As du Fallafel for dinner which was indeed really good. We passed the Centre Pompidou and some more sights. For those of you who know Paris and how incredibly big this city is you can probably imagine how much walking we did on this day! I have more photos to follow but for today I`ll show you these two: The entrance to the Tuileries Garden and a typical picture that could have been taken at any corner: people taking a break in a small restaurant or perhaps a café. This particular one is located at the backside of Notre Dame.
