I couldn`t update this series because our Internet connection was not fast enough, but now that I`m back home, here is the final part:
Rome was beautiful, as I remembered it. But then we got snow, and there had not been any snow in 27 years. You can imagine that traffic broke down completely. When we decided to take the car to go for Lunch, it took us 30 minutes to go to the city center and 4 hours and 30 minutes to drive back to the hotel.
We also went to Bologna, but I didn`t take proper pictures, because it was snowing like crazy and freezing cold.
The Spanish Steps.
Caffé Greco – it`s supposed to be the 10th best Café in the world. I think it was just really, really pricey. But Goethe has been there!
Fontana di Trevi, you have to throw in coins over your shoulder. One coin means that you will come back to Rome, two mean you will fall in love with a Roman, and for three, you will marry that person.
A shopping street – the Via del Corso, with lights in the colors of the Italian flag.
And finally, Vatican city as seen from the Castle Sant`Angelo…
…and the Colosseum.
